Format: (0-127).(xxx).(xxx).(xxx) NetID: 8 bit HostID: 24 bit Jumlah Jaringan Mencapai 126 Kelas A (0 dan 127 dicadangkan) Jadi range IP-nya ( 1-126 ) IP-nya: 1-126 Host ID: 0.0.1 - 255.255.254 Jumlah IP: 16.777.214 IP Address pada tiap kelas. Contoh: IP 113.46.3.1 maka:

Network ID: 113
Host ID: 46.3.1

Sehingga dibaca host nomor 46.3.1 pada network 113
